Be bold, or opt for something more subtle

Our Adoorable Oak Doors range includes both glazed and panelled doors. Make a statement with the ornate LPD Oak Majestic door. Distinctive and impressive, this door is sure to add a touch of art deco glamour to any hallway. Glazed doors are perfect for increasing light flow around your home.

Looking for something more subtle? Try the LPD Oak Modica. This door is panelled and exudes minimalist style. For a more rural, traditional feel, we recommend choosing one of our cottage stable doors.

All the doors in this collection are sold unfinished, making them perfect for customers embarking on a DIY project. While arguably less convenient than finished doors, unfinished doors are great for adding a personal touch to a property, as they can be painted or stained. Be daring and add a splash of colour to your exterior, or simply stain your door.

Promoting functionality without compromising style

Adoorable Oak Doors are manufactured using engineered wood. Engineered wood consists of several layers of timber, pressed and glued together in different directions. A thin veneer of solid wood is applied to the surface, giving the engineered wood the look and feel of natural timber. Engineered wooden doors are great value for money and make a fantastic investment, as they are durable and long-lasting.

LPD: Manufacturing quality doors for over 40 years

All of the doors in this collection have a 10-year guarantee and are manufactured with quality materials and expert craftsmanship. Trusted by property owners and businesses around the world, British brand LPD has designed, manufactured and distributed doors for more than four decades.

All materials used in the manufacture of LPD doors are ethically sourced, and the company is committed to recycling, reducing waste and minimising negative environmental impacts. Increasingly, their products are FSC certified.

Adoorable Oak Doors FAQs

It is very important to treat, stain or paint your door before installation. All of the doors in this collection feature a solid oak veneer. Exposed hardwood attracts moisture, which may cause the wood in your door to swell and warp. We recommend using a proprietary branded Hi-Build stain or paint and treating your new door in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. Lightly sand between coats to ensure a consistent finish.

It is crucial to paint, stain or treat your unfinished door before cleaning, as excess moisture may cause your door to warp or swell. Use a damp cloth to gently wipe down your door, moving in the direction of the wood grain. If any marks or stains remain, combine a splash of soap with warm water, wring out the cloth and repeat the process. When finished, ensure to wipe down the door again with a clean, dry cloth to remove any excess water. We recommend cleaning engineered oak doors once or twice a month.

We recommend Osmo Door Oil, which we sell in-store. Ideal for veneered doors, Osmo Door Oil features a clear satin finish. It can be used for interior wooden doors, frames and joinery. This oil takes around 24 hours to dry and promotes resistance to water and dirt. It enhances the wood’s natural character and preserves colour. No sanding is required for future applications.

Oak doors come in a variety of finishes, including natural, stained, or painted options. The choice depends on personal preference and the desired aesthetic.

Oak has natural properties that make it resistant to pests and rot. Proper finishing and maintenance further enhance its resistance.
